Houston in July.....Feliz Cumpleaños

Call us crazy, but we decided to visit the kids in Houston a couple of weeks ago in the extreme summer heat of Houston. The temps had reached 107 F a week before we arrived. The high while we were in Houston was a mere 97 F. It felt like 197 F to me! We stayed in Houston for two weeks and alternated staying at the Hunnicutt and Vowel Bed and Breakfast's. I can highly recommend them both! I'll be splitting up all our fun events and pictures over several posts. 

The first order of business was to celebrate Cindy and Jim's birthdays with Mexican food at El Tiempo. The wait staff sang a rousing refrain of "Feliz Cumpleaños" while Cindy and Jim smiled and wore big sombreros. Then we all tried the sombreros on and had a good laugh.
