Baby Reese is Here!


In case there is anyone out there that doesn't yet know, Jim and I will have two grand daughters born in 2014! Our first grand baby, Reese Elizabeth Hunnicutt, was born on Feb 6. She weighed 6 lbs 15 ozs. She is a beautiful baby with a full head of dark hair. We were lucky enough to fly to Houston two days after she was born, and we spent two weeks watching her sleep while we held her as often as we could and ooohed and aaahed over her. Cindy and Ryan are troopers. They went several nights on little or no sleep since Reese seemed to have her days and nights mixed up. I think she has them straightened out by now, (her parents, not her nights). I only took a few pictures ;) which I'll share with you now. Enjoy!

    I've looked at these pics and enjoyed them so much. Reese looks so precious, a real doll! You mention her dark hair but I see a hint or tint of red. May be just the lighting; but it brought memories of when Jim was only months old and his great grandparents were so excited that we finally had another red head (like aunt Selma) in the family. Two of those pictures need framed, "Two beautiful girls" and "Ryan & Reese." Well, actually they all need to be on display!! I'm so happy for all of you.. And, I'll get another opportunity to comment in July when Casey and Anthony are the subject line. Love all you guys,

    Hey are Reese's extra long fingers more of the Hunnicutt thing or does Cindy get that credit? Hopefully,and evidently, she has Cindy's looks. No slam intended Ryan....

      Hi Marolyn!
      Reese is developing quite a personality! I'll email you some more pictures of her. Ryan and Cindy couldn't be happier and they have really taken to parenting. I hope you get to meet Reese and Casey and Anthony's baby girl!
