Pics of Our Return Trip from Whitefish

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. We returned to Calgary after four grand days in Whitefish.  We had a wonderful time and will likely return sometime this summer. We acquired our allotted twenty-four bottles of beer, liter of vodka and enough cheese to last us six months!  All in all a pretty good trip! We, along with most every other Calgarian, hit the road early to avoid the traffic jam we expected on the five hour return trip. Just north of Fernie, BC, along a two lane road, Jim was pulled over for speeding. The RCMP officer was a very nice chap and gave us a special half off discount since we were so friendly and obliging. We only have to pay $85 instead of the $170 ticket. Jim is grounded from playing one round of golf in order to meet that obligation.

There were dandelions EVERYWHERE!

Canadian snow cat at the border. Jim wants one for a golf cart!

Some lucky kid has this in his backyard!

Springtime means foaling season

Beautiful building in Fernie, BC. I'm not sure what it is.

We drove along side the Canadian Rockies all the way home.
This was the view from our McDonald's lunch spot!
