Dinner at Karen and Mike's House

A highlight of our trip to Houston was getting to see baby Owen and big sis, Olivia, when we had dinner at Karen and Mike Schafer's beautiful house. Less than a month after Owen was born, Karen treated us to a delicious shrimp and crawfish etouffee dinner with my favorite chocolate bread pudding for dessert. Boy, those Schafer and Eshelman girls can sure cook! Olivia kept us all entertained while we passed Owen around to see who could put him to sleep first. Congrats to the proud parents and grandparents of two of the cutest kids ever!

Jim and I got to practice holding a new baby.....in case you didn't know, Ryan and Cindy will be parents in February! We are all so excited! And we are still trying to come up with an appropriate grandpa name for Jim. Anybody got a suggestion?

How does she do it? Glamorous, great cook and great mama.

  1. Love the pictures! We had such a great time having everyone over. Your visits always go by way too quickly. Olivia was asking when we could have another party night with you guys the next morning. Can't wait to add another little Hunnicutt to the party :)

    loveya, Karen
